Adoleszentenkrise
Mit „Adoleszentenkrise“ (auch Pubertätskrise) werden in der Pubertät auftretende vorübergehende, aber teilweise sehr ausgeprägte seelische Veränderungen und Verstimmungen bezeichnet, die oft mit auffälligem Verhalten einhergehen. Neben verschlossenem und abweisendem Verhalten und Aufbegehren kann es zu Lernschwierigkeiten mit Leistungsabfall, Alkohol- und Drogenmissbrauch, auch Delinquenz, Gewaltäusserungen und Kurzschlusshandlungen kommen.
Die Wahrnehmungsveränderungen in einer Adoleszentenkrise können ein psychoseähnliches Ausmass erreichen und sind ggl. nicht sicher von Prodromalstadien einer schizophrenen Erkrankung (z. B. der Hebephrenie) zu unterscheiden. Im Rahmen der genannten Kurtzschlusshandlungen kann es durchaus auch zu parasuizidalen oder suizidalen Handlungen kommen. Der Umgang mit Jugendlichen in einer Adoleszentenkrise stellt deshalb besondere Anforderungen an das soziale Umfeld und erfordert häufig entsprechende professionelle Unterstützung.
