Kielholz-Schema
Die Definition bzw. die Klassifikation von Depressionen hat sich in den vergangenen Jahren gewandelt. In der psychiatriegeschichtlichen Tradition verwiesen verschiedene Definitionen auf je unterschiedliche Sichtweisen und Zugangswege zum Störungsbild und zum erkrankten Patienten.
Ein nach wie vor klinisch geläufiges, wenngleich heute nicht mehr offiziell gültiges Einteilungsschema ist das sogenannte Kielholz-Schema der Depressionen:
Dieses unterscheidet zwischen
- psychogenen Depressionen (neurotische oder reaktive depressive Entwicklungen)endogenen Depressionen (dispositionell, anlagebedingt, „biologisch“) und
- somatogenen Depressionen (organisch-körperlich, durch eine andere Grunderkrankung bedingt)
